HAWAII STATUTES OF LIMITATION
Professional Malpractice: Medical malpractice - 2 years from the act giving rise to injury injury or reasonable date of discovery. If an object is left inside a person's body, a medical malpractice action may be commenced within one year from the date of discovery. However, all medical malpractice actions must be commenced within six years of the date of the act giving rise to injury.
Personal Injury: 2 years.
Fraud: 2 years.
Libel / Slander / Defamation: 2 years.
Injury to Personal Property: 2 years.
Product Liability: 2 years.
Contracts: 6 years.
